Sunday, April 27th we will have a fundraiser to support our youth going to camp co-sponsored by the hospitality and teaching, wisdom, knowledge spirit teams. The food will get us all in the camp spirit – hot dogs with all the trimmings, chips, koolaid, and a smore-style dessert! We will also have a presentation where you’ll get to hear what all goes on at camp–the fun, the fellowship, and the growth.
Because outdoor ministry programs are such an important part of faith development, Pine Valley members have traditionally aided families in sending our kids to camp by paying half of the registration fee. This year we will be sending 8 youth to camp, so our goal is to raise $125 per child to cover the costs ($1000 total). We would love for you to come to the event April 27 so that you can learn more about why camp is such an important and special experience.
If you cannot attend and would like to donate you can write a check with “camp fundraiser” written in the memo. Your support is greatly appreciated.
