My “why” for writing a blog is initially because I pastor a congregation…but that is only part of who I am, so I write as a tool for connection. I am the first to say that grabbing a cuppa and sitting down together is my preferred method, but in our scrolling culture a blog helps us to know a bit along the way. I blog from life experience, that is generally church or lived theology…but also the very ordinary in daily life. My wondering thoughts could be sparked by a poem, justice for all, or a bird feather that catches my eye in the parking lot.
