I'm New (Welcome, Visitor!)

We invite you to be a part of our mission and vision to build a kinder, more just world, with love at the center.

Come experience PVCC as a community of love. We each come to Sunday worship just as we are (no dress code expectations). We gather together each week to experience God’s love in word and
individual expressions.

"People will forget what you said. They will forget what you did. But they will never forget how you made them feel."

- Maya Angelou

worship description

about our service

We have a very casual service in the Great Hall [some would call Sanctuary]. Our music is highly eclectic, ranging from traditional hymnals to sacred secular songs and music videos. Our service includes many participants from the congregation in giving announcements, prayers and scripture reading.

The Lord’s Supper or Communion is celebrated in weekly worship. It is open to ALL. The practice of Communion has become the central element of worship within the Disciples tradition. Echoing the Passover feast, Disciples' weekly observance of the Lord’s Supper affirms the incarnational presence of Christ as we proclaim the Beloved Kindom together.

Our International Communion Collection

Pine Valley Christian Church displays a collection of eighty-two unique communion sets from around the world, all lovingly purchased and gifted to the church by a member during their global travels. Each Sunday, a volunteer carefully chooses one of these international sets to use on the Table to hold the bread and juice. Not only does this tradition connect us to the wider world, but it also reflects our practice of passing communion to one another, sharing the elements hand-to-hand as a community.
