Women’s March – Air Capitol

Saturday, Jan. 21, 10:00 am – 1:00 pm

“Oh, if I could live another century and see the fruition of all the work for women! There is so much yet to be done!”
Susan B. Anthony

This march is in solidarity with our sisters marching in Washington, DC and across the country. This serves as a positive, peaceful yet powerful message that “Women’s Rights Are Human Rights”. The issues will focus on women’s rights and equality and what we as a community can do moving forward.

In 2018 the state of Kansas will have 125 house seats up for election.  Our goal is to educate and empower women, and people who identify as women, with all backgrounds, races, religions, ages and abilities. We want this to be as inclusive as possible while also acknowledging the importance of having a women’s centered march. We encourage ALL to attend and participate; this includes women and all of our loved ones standing by us.

We will gather at the North end of the Keeper of The Plains located at 650 North Seneca and march down Central to rally at the City Hall building before returning to the Keeper of the Plains. For those unable to participate in the march, please attend the rally at City Hall at approximately 10:45 am.
