(UN)HEALTHCARE FOR ALL

The proposed healthcare legislation is bad for the economy and bad for people, yet Kansas Senator Roberts supports it. Senator Moran says that he is weighing the issues and wants to hear from you.

The Congressional Budget Office says that if the proposed legislation becomes law it will result in 22 million people being uninsured at the end of the decade. Reuters says that insurance premiums could increase by 30 percent. CNN Money reports that the proposed legislation will be a gift that gives the wealthiest among us, the 1 percent with an annual income of $5 million and up, a $250,000 tax break in 2026. People with an income over $875,000 will see a tax savings of $45,000 a year.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt said that the measure of an economy is not what it does for those who have more than enough, but what it does for those who have too little. Please take action. Call 1-202-224-6521 or 316-613-1410 or email Senator Moran and let him know what you think of this proposed legislation. Thank you.

In friendship,

David
