The Great Plains United Methodist Mercy and Justice Team is hosting a social justice event on Saturday, October 28 from 9:30-3:00 at St Mark’s United Methodist Church. The name of the event is “For the Transformation of the World: the role of the church in a politically/racially divided nation”. Jim Wallis, President and founder of Sojourners in Washington, DC, is the keynote speaker in the morning and there are three (3) concurrent workshops in the afternoon.
