Poor Peoples Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival
Pine Valley was well represented at Monday night’s meeting in Topeka with the Rev. Dr. William Barber and Rev. Dr. Liz Theoharris. Eight people attended the event. Working on the event were Dave and Cheryl Roy and making up the rest of the group were Phil and Connie Dietz, Carmen Bell, Natalie and Lisa Tos-Brightup and Luna Byington. It was a great event and you will hear more about it throughout this year.
A follow-up meeting is being held at Riverside Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 1001 Litchfield, Wichita, Sunday, August 27, at 2:00pm. For those who were unable to attend the meeting in Topeka, this will have all the details from the statewide meeting.
