This year’s theme is “Every church was new once.” We Disciples have started more than 830 new churches since 2001. These churches have reached more than 50,000 individuals who may not have had a relationship with God. Our new churches worship in at least 19 different languages. One important way that you can support the creation of new churches is through your generous gifts to the Pentecost Offering. Half of the offering received in Kansas stays in Kansas, and the other half goes to Hope Partnership to support new church ministry. This year’s Pentecost Offering will be taken on Sundays, June 1and June 8.
