This is the last week of the “Around the World Week of Compassion” special offering. This network functions through a remarkable group of church affiliated organizations and partnerships that insure our response to humanitarian needs in the world is efficient, effective and faithful. Through these partnerships, Disciples are able to join a tapestry of caring that brings help and hope to hurting people in every corner of the world. Week of Compassion is the relief, refugee and development mission fund of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the US and Canada. We seek to equip and empower disciples to alleviate the suffering of others through disaster response, humanitarian aid, sustainable development and the promotion of mission opportunities.
