Hello Family! It appears Old Man winter has come back to visit us for at least one more time. I was even told by a co-worker today that they saw snow flakes on their way to a meeting. I’m ready for spring.
Spring is not only a time of renewal for the Earth, but it brings a renewal to us. Through Lent we have been focusing on different ways to renew ourselves. This past week, Jennifer White shared the story of Human Trafficking in Wichita providing us all an opportunity to help with the issue through ICT S.O.S. After service, she had to go back to her office to unload all of the newly donated items off so that she would have room in her car for her family.
We also have the garage sale coming up. This is an opportunity to renew your house by getting rid of those old, gently used items and donating them to the church. Alex was working on that this weekend while also trying to catch the mouse that he found in the garage. Luckily, he didn’t.
