On Saturday, April 22, 2017, join hundreds of other volunteers for the 16th annual Arkansas River Trash Roundup! Spend some time that morning doing some “spring cleaning” of our river.
Here’s what you need to know:
Date: Saturday, April 22
Time: 8 a.m. – 12 noon. Check-in is at 8 a.m. at 151 N. Waco (parking lot on the SW corner of Waco & 1st Street)
Cost: FREE, but you do need to register!
Trash bags and gloves will be provided. Wear sturdy shoes and clothes you can get dirty. Sunscreen, hat, and mosquito repellent are good ideas, too.
The City of Wichita, Cargill, Spirit AeroSystems, and Ducks Unlimited will provide a post-clean-up cook-out luncheon.
