SEASON OF NONVIOLENCE

Things are really picking up with these last two weeks of the 2014 Nonviolence – A Season for Everyone.  There are several upcoming events that will delve into GLBTQ issues that will be hosted here at PVCC.  With so much going on, I thought I would remind everyone of the opportunities.

  • Saturday, March 22, 7-9pm – The      Laramie Project w/ Guest Speaker @ PVCC – The Laramie Project is a film      version of the play written around the reactions to the Matthew Sheppard      Story in Laramie, Wyoming.
  • Tuesday, March 25, 7-8:30pm – A      Force More Powerful – Nashville Film Viewing w/ Discussion @ Lorraine      Avenue Mennonite Church
  • Friday, March 28, 6-8:30pm – Final Friday Art Show on      Bullying @ Peace & Social Justice Center

  • Saturday, March 29, 2-4pm – Beyond the Binary – Exploring Gender Identity @ PVCC
  • Sunday, March 30, 4:30-5:30pm – Meditation & Chanting @ The Art Park
  • Thursday, April 3, 7-8:30pm – TED Talk – GLBT Issues @ Lorraine Avenue Mennonite Church
    • Saturday, April 5, 9-12am – Leadership Workshop – Where do we go from here @ PVCC

Saturday, April 5, 5-8pm – Closing Event – Potluck Dinner @ Marcus Welcome Center @ WSU
