A new group for parents, families, and friends of lesbians, gays, bisexual and transgendered is starting in Wichita. Wichita PFLAG will have a community Forum on September 24th at 6:30 pm at Pine Valley Christian Church. Please come to our meeting as we share the short subject Oscar winning film “Trevor”. The creators of this movie started the Trevor Hotline, which operates as an around the clock call-in and website for LGBT youth who are in crises.
Wichita PFLAG has been merged with PVCC Sunflower Chapter to support the community of Wichita. Wichita PFLAG will meet the second Thursday of every month at College Hill United Methodist at 6:30 pm beginning October 10th. Our Community Forum on the 24th will help the PFLAG board to know how best to support Wichita.
