On Sunday, during the Q & A’s following the potluck luncheon, a question was posed about handling conflict. Rev. Carolyn Schwarz responded by discussing a “Differences” workshop she had conducted in which church members voted by using a number (1-4) instead of a simple “yes” or “no” vote. She sent the Search Team an e-mail and asked to add to her answer by saying “… we got through the hardship and actually the church is in a very healthy place, now. Some tell me it’s the healthiest it has been in about 20 years. So – things happen; they just do, it’s how they are handled that matter. Hopefully it leads to health.”
