MESSAGE FROM THE PV PRESIDENT

I hope this finds everyone enjoying the cooler temperatures and much needed rain.  This week has been a nice break from the dog days of summer and a great peek at what is yet to come.  While doing some yard work this weekend, I even saw the first leaf fall from a neighbor’s tree.

With school started, choir practice in full swing and Fall Festival festivities planned for this weekend, there’s no time like the present to get back into the groove of your Sunday routine and enhance your spiritual journey.  Fall Festival is always the kick-off to the church year’s normal routine.

Every Sunday at 8:30 am, music starts to fill the church. If you enjoy singing, come join Jeff and the crew for a 30 minute practice to get you warmed up and ready to share your talents during worship.

Sunday school…It’s not just for the youth of the church.  If you’re looking for a place to learn, share your experiences and inquiries, and/or enjoy some fellowship, come join us at 9:00 am.  Classes are available for children, youth, and adults.

Mingle before you find your seat in the Great Hall.  As you move from a time of education and learning to a time of meditation and worship, refresh your chosen cup and take some time to say hi, catching up with those you don’t typically sit with from 10:00 – 10:15 am.

Join in the worship at 10:15 am.  From the piano prelude to the Shalom, experience a time of movement, spiritual fulfillment, songs to fill your ears, and words to fill your heart. Come be a part of the family.

If you have a talent (and we all do), there’s a place for you.  If you are interested in learning more about the workings of the church and if there is a place for you beyond these opportunities, feel free to ask.  Contact a Mission Council member or myself and we will assist in helping you find your joy as part of the church family.

Peace and blessings! Nat
