This week, I was reminded how important it is for everyone to have someone they can turn to in their time of need. It was hard to watch the pain in the eyes of many teenagers and their mentors as they mourned the young life taken too soon. Even as a teenager, the pain from being in the world can send one over the edge.
As followers of Christ, we are led to find those who are in need; those who are outcast. We are supposed to be on the point to remind all that they are loved; they have a place in this world. It is the healing teachings of Christ that bring us together in these painful times to comfort each other. Take this week to reach out to someone who is in need, showing them love and acceptance.
