Summer has arrived and many in the congregation will be traveling. From Ireland to Washington D.C. to a staycation, it’s a great time to take a break and rejuvenate. It’s also a great time to get together with each other and touch base with members you haven’t seen in awhile.
It’s been quite a road that we have travelled together. While we haven’t reached the end of our journey, we are well down that path. The search team is actively working with the current candidate to determine when is the right time to move forward to the next step. In the meantime, our spirit teams have been hard at work helping to keep the church going.
We have had important conversations as of late about our future budget. Mission Council is working together to look down the path in front of us and find ways to make the required changes. As such, this year should see an earlier, more deliberate stewardship campaign with a proposed budget.
Over the next two weeks, my family and I will be traveling to the northeast. While I will have access to email and my cell phone, I plan to do my best to truly make this a vacation for the family.
Peace and Blessings,
Natalie Byington
