I serve on the Board of Equality Kansas and also on the steering committee of GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Educational Network. On April 6th, Sunday, at 2:00 GLSEN and the WSU Ecumenical Campus Ministry (of which I am also a member) will be hosting a “Community Discussion: Creating Change in Schools.” The meeting will be held in Ahlberg Hall, room 201 (just off the main 17th street entrance to the campus.) GLSEN strives to assure that every member of every school community is valued and respected regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity expression. The meeting on April 6th is open to all. Plan to attend and bring a friend if this is on interest to you. If you would like to attend a GLSEN steering committee meeting please let me know.
