WOW!!! That’s the word that best expresses my feelings for the fantastic welcome Ken and I have received by Pine Valley Christian Church. Thank you to those who brought lunches and dinners. Thank you to those who came to our house and helped us unpack boxes and to help us with the tasks it takes to set up household. We are way ahead of schedule! Thank you for the gift certificates so we can get out of the house for a needed break. Thank you to those who have dropped by the church to say hello and to help unpack boxes and boxes of books. My cup of gratitude brims to overflowing!
I am looking forward to the second, which is my first Sunday with you. We will remember the saints in our lives that day. The first few months we will spend time getting to know each other and to establish relationships. It is my hope to visit every household in the church. It will take some time to do this, so please be patient with me.
I am looking forward to a long and fruitful ministry together at Pine Valley. May the spirit of love, open hearts and open welcome continue to be with us.
