As we conclude our fall theme, HANDS AND FEET OF GOD: CHURCH AND COMMUNITY, we affirm the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) mission, “To be and to share the good news of Jesus Christ, witnessing, loving and serving from our doorstep to the ends of the earth.” Many thanks to all who have participated in the “hands” and “feet” activities of fall festival. The building has been cleaned in places that have been untouched to date. The new paint is an incredible change, brightening up the entrances and the education wing hallways. Check out the PVCC Hands & Feet Gallery and watch as it develops with improved lighting and hanging devices.
On Sunday, October 12 we dedicated and consecrated financial gifts totaling $120,320. This generous giving includes a total of 33 pledges/gifts, 19 pledge increases and 2 new pledges. Some pledgers have already begun giving at their 2015 commitment. WOW! While we are shy of our target by $6,446, we will continue to accept pledges/gifts and Mission Council will consider options. Thanks to the Hospitality Spirit Team for the “finger” foods after worship as people strolled through the PVCC Hands & Feet Gallery.
