What a wonderful feeling it is to be surrounded by such a loving, supportive, and warm church family. This past week was truly evident of all I am blessed to be part of as I sat in the hospital with Lisa during her recent heart episode. Not only did the visits, thoughts, phone calls, texts, and prayers warm my heart, they reminded me that I was not alone.
It is this feeling that not only brought me to Pine Valley originally, but it is what keeps me coming back and especially excites me to be able to be your leader.
As we are upon this Lenten season, let us each take the time to focus in on ourselves, our church, our community and the life that Jesus led which not only countered the status quo, but taught us that we are the outcasts who are blessed. Let us become focused in God’s love and learn to share with our community in the many ways that we are called.
Over the next several weeks there will be opportunities for us to learn of new community movements which we have not searched out as a community. Please come and join in these special Sundays to guide yourself in knowledge and love.
Peace and Blessings!
