I received a card from a member of St. Mark UMC who attended PVCC when Mark McCormick spoke on August 25. The visitor’s comments speak to our welcoming spirit and to the quality of our worship. Excerpts: Thank you so much for the card! I want you to know that I really felt welcome when I visited the church and I was so glad I came to hear Mark speak. The service was awesome, inspiring, and thought provoking and I learned so much by being there that day! I’ve told everyone about my experience there and how welcoming the church and people are and the fact that the church devoted the entire service to the “March on Washington” time frame was just a wonderful tribute to the civil rights movement. Thank you again for not just talking about the love of God, but showing it to me, a total stranger.
