Your district cabinet is hard at work planning this year’s District Assembly featuring speaker Dr. Mark Johnston, Executive Director of the Open & Affirming Ministry program at the GLAD Alliance.
Mark Johnston is an ordained Disciples minister with a Ph.D. in Pastoral Psychology. Before accepting the call to the Open & Affirming Ministry program, he worked as a therapist with LGBT clients and their families for over 25 years. He is an avid sailor, cyclist, and scuba diver, and wannabe linguist.
Registration will begin at 1:30 p.m. with opening & keynote beginning at 2 p.m. Two, hour-long, workshop sessions will follow.
