We had quite the discussion after viewing the The Myth of Redemptive Violence last Sunday. The Living the Questions video series is progressive theology applied to today’s questions and issues. You won’t want to miss the upcoming lesson, Practicing Resurrection (#12). Here’s a snippet, “While much has been made of Jesus’ literal and physical resurrection being the core historical event of Christianity, the Biblical texts themselves present conflicting evidence. For many today, the resuscitation of Jesus’ body is less important than the idea of resurrection as a credible and meaningful principle for living.” The Delaneys will host a Game Night in early March. More details to follow. See ya’ll at 9:00 on Sunday. Who knows, there might be more healthy and delicious coffee cake!
