Our worship via zoom is only possible through the technical prowess of several of our members. Thanks to Judy and AJ for providing recorded music. Thanks to Linda Cardinal and Greg Yarnell for creating the beautiful photo videos that accompany our music.

A Disciples of Christ Spiritual Retreat will be March 10-12, 2022. 

This retreat will be held at the Disciples Center at Tawakoni. Dr. Paul Koch, Co-Regional Minister for the Christian Church in Mid-America will be this year’s retreat facilitator. The cost will be $135.  Registration should be open now. Please let me know if you want to attend and I will get information to you.

We have vacancies that need filled by volunteers. As of 1-16-2022, our congregation is short 3 Spirit Team facilitators and 3 Mission Council representatives. This affects all aspects of our shared life and ministry together. Think about volunteering for one of these positions. Please contact Melanie Naden.

Hospitality Spirit Team. We need a Facilitator and a Mission Council member.

Support Services Spirit Team. We need a Facilitator and a Mission Council member.

Teaching/Wisdom/Knowledge Spirit Team. We need a Facilitator and a Mission Council member.

When we return to our building, you’re going to notice new SE entry doors, which are ADA compliant and were purchased in part by memorial funds. A big thanks to the Property Maintenance Spirit Team led by facilitator Dave Roy, and team Lorrie Beck, Phil Dietz, Paul Dotson, Dena Martin, Muffin Overstreet, Ken Schwarz, Dave Spriggs, Dave Vignatelli, and Greg Yarnell.

From the PVCC newsletter archives, this week in 1969:  Commission Takes Forward Action. A number of significant actions were taken by the Wichita Christian Church Commission… A request was approved to seek zoning changes for the proposed Pine Valley Day Care Center. The Commission heard a progress report from the Day Care Task Force.
