Wichita Habitat for Humanity is proud to kick off our 2017 Building Season on Monday, January 16, by partnering with Volunteer Kansas, CrossRoads Missions: Help Build Hope, and the City of Wichita.
Volunteers of all ages will construct, frame and transport the interior and exterior walls of a five-bedroom house inside the Bob Brown Expo Hall of Century II Performing Arts & Convention Center.
Through this large scale service event, participants will take part in Dr. King’s enduring legacy of social justice, learn about the need for safe and affordable housing within our community, and help a hardworking family realize their dream of homeownership.
Would you like to join us? Space is limited and available on a first come, first serve basis! Visit the event registration page to learn more and sign up.
Once you have successfully created your Volunteer Kansas account and registered for the event, you will be sent a detailed confirmation email with more information about where to go, what to bring, what to wear, etc.
