From the PVCC newsletter archives, this week in 1976: Carol Epley, one of PV’s newest members, will center [next week’s] worship service around Clarence Jordan, author of the Cottonpatch Version of the Bible. Her thesis for this method of using biography as theology in public worship is that “we are all saints and as such we can be mutually encouraged by our faith.”
